The Philippine government, through the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), is eyeing stronger ties with the Republic of Poland in the field of digital transformation.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said a meeting was held, highlighting the value of stronger Philippines-Poland cooperation in building resilient digital infrastructure, expanding digital inclusion and strengthening cybersecurity capabilities.

He met with Katarzyna Wilkowiecka, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and Ambassador-designate of Poland to the Philippines, and First Secretary Paweł Nowacki at the DICT office on Wednesday.

“We exchanged insights on artificial intelligence, digital government, and cybersecurity, and explored how both countries can learn from one another’s experiences,” Aguda said.

“Through partnerships and knowledge-sharing, we can help create more opportunities for innovation and inclusive growth for our people,” he added.

He expressed willingness to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

“I look forward to further strengthening the partnership between the Philippines and Poland and fostering collaboration that supports our shared vision of a secure, innovative, and digitally empowered future,” the DICT chief said. (PNA)
