In an interview on Monday, Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the award is not a mere recognition but a reflection of the dedication of barangay officials to uphold good governance.

“It shows the initiatives of barangays officials to serve their constituents well. It shows that they too support the city’s good governance thrust,” he said as he congratulated the 50 barangays for inspiring communities to pursue integrity and progress in public service.
